Taking action to fight the climate crisis is so important to our communities. We’ve created programs that will help you develop the skills you need to take advantage of the new opportunities in the green economy.  

Learn from and network with industry experts about the opportunities in a variety of green jobs including urban nature and forestry, mass timber construction, energy efficiency, conservation, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), corporate social responsibility, and more!

All of our programs will help prepare you for the workplace and introduce you to new opportunities.

Are you interested in a green career and don’t know where to find or access one? Check out our Explore program. 

Explore is a 90-minute question and answer session on a variety of topics and careers that contribute to a sustainable future. The Explore program allows you to learn more about a field and help you determine if it is right for you and how to get involved. 

Program topics have included the blue economy, zero waste, sustainable fashion, GIS, energy efficiency, and forest conservation.

Do you want to take a deeper dive into green career opportunities? 

Discover is a 2-3-day program for 3-4 hours per day. Discover allows you to explore a range of careers and employment opportunities in green sectors. The program includes presentations by industry experts, panel discussions, interactive skill-building sessions, and more. 

Program topics have included Urban Nature & Forestry, Green Careers, and Nature-Based Wellness.
